On Monday Apple company announced a new MacBook Pro at an event. And while the upcoming new MacBook products are going to be very fast and efficient. They are also very expensive. The baseline model starts at around Rs 1,94,900 for the 14-inch model. But that version is not thoroughly deceived at all. However, the top of the line 16-inch model that comes with the M1 Max chipset that comes with a 10-core CPU, 32-core GPU, and 64GB RAM costs around ₹6 lakhs across India.
Now that is enough and many people can get a good car which is going to make many families very happy. Yes, these new laptops of Apple company are not necessary at all. Like there can be many of these vehicles. So here’s a list of all those cars.
1. Maruti Suzuki S-Presso
At around ₹3.7 lakh for the starting price of this car, it is one of the cheapest cars in the segment, but this car is for those who want the vibe of an SUV. But the hatchback and the power of compactness. The car gets a very cool trendy smart design along with the Smart Play Studio infotainment system from Maruti. Which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto well. This car is also decently powerful with a 1-litre engine. Which makes 67 bhp and 90 Nm of torque.
2. Maruti Suzuki WagonR
This car Wagon R has been one of the best-selling cars of Maruti Suzuki in India for a very long time. It is the quintessential tallboy hatchback. Which starts from approx ₹ 4.93 Lakh. And goes up to about ₹ 6.46 lakh. It also gets driver-side airbags, ABS with EBD, and a new touchscreen infotainment system. Which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This car is offered with 2 engine options. One 67 bhp motor and the other a more powerful 82 bhp motor.
3. Maruti Suzuki Alto 800
Alto 800 is one of the most popular car brands in India, dating back to the 80s when it was Maruti 800 and later relaunched as Alto. Quintessential first car for many families. Although it also gets around 82 bhp motor. Which is in the ZXi variant of Wagon R. This car starts from approx ₹ 4.66 Lakh and goes up to ₹ 6.46 Lakh approx.
5. Hyundai Santro
As the Wagon R has been the talisman of Maruti Suzuki. This old Santro has been one of those cars. Who has played the most important role in making Hyundai the number 2 in all over India after Maruti car. Once again this car is also a tallboy hatchback. Which comes with a 7-inch infotainment system display. It also supports the Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. And it is powered by a 1.1-liter Epsilon MPI engine. Which has been prepared well to make 68 bhp. This car also has a CNG variant. Which generates 58 bhp. But it is much cheaper and cleaner to run. 6. Tata Tiago
The Tiago is a smartly designed compact hatchback from Tata Motors. Which has been liked very much in the entire Indian market. With a 4 star Global NCAP rating, Tata’s passion for safety makes it one of the safest cars in the segment. This car is powered by the same 1.2-liter Revotron engine. And it also gets the Tata approx 7-inch infotainment system. Which along with the sound system from Harmon also supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Starting from around Rs 5 lakh ex-showroom, this car is not a very affordable car in the under Rs 6 lakh segment. But it makes sense because of the focus on design and safety.
